The dress also featured in much of the publicity for the film. It can be seen on screen for a significant portion of the movie including the casino scenes, the fight in the hallway and stairwell, culminating in the memorable scene in the shower. This is the breath taking evening dress carefully selected by 007 and given to Vesper with the sole intention of distracting the patrons of the casino. Bond decides to use the charms of the lovely agent as part of his strategy in the game. Bond is being financed in this endeavour by the British Government with the direct assistance of treasury agent Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green. The movie is centred around the titular casino and a high stakes game of poker with James Bond Le Chiffre. The plot featured Bond’s first ever mission as he tries to stop Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) winning a high stakes poker tournament in Montenegro. It did extremely well at the box office and is considered one of the finest of all the Bond films. It starred Daniel Craig as a more rugged and angry Bond and the film benefited from much more realistic action sequences. It was released in 2006 and was the 21st movie of the ever popular series.
